Admissions

Aflah Nursery is a registered Early Years Childcare provider for ages 2-5yrs. We will apply the regulations on admissions fairly and equally, on a par with DfE national regulations, to all those who wish to attend the nursery.

In order to achieve this we will:

  • Make it clear that the nursery welcomes children from all cultural, ethnic, religious and social groups, with and without disabilities.
  • Monitor the gender and ethnic background of children joining the setting to ensure that no accidental discrimination is taking place.
  • Arrange our waiting list in order of application.
  • Make our equal opportunities policy widely known.
  • Try to accommodate children and families needs regarding session times.

How to Apply

Application forms for admissions along with an ‘Information & Registration Pack for Parents/Carers’ can be obtained from the Aflah Nursery Office. Parents applying for admission of their children will be informed with regards to a place on a first-come-first-served basis. A start date will be confirmed by the nursery in writing.

Alternatively, you can register your interest using the button below, and we will contact you - via email - to arrange an orientation visit to the nursery.

Settling in Opportunity

Prior to a child's actual start date, a settling in session is offered to all prospective children towards the end of the term prior to the admission term. This is an opportunity for parents to stay for as long or as little of a session as they wish whilst the prospective child participates in the usual routines and activities of a morning session.

Stay and Play

These sessions are for younger siblings/children who are on roll and would like to experience nursery with a parent/carer staying for the session. We welcome prospective admissions to the nursery and anyone interested in playing alongside their 0-5 year old child/children.

We also welcome parents/carers to come with their child and join in with the nursery’s routines, choose your own activities with your child, participate in whole group arts & crafts/song and story time with an Islamic ethos.
